Her Seasons Begin Your Journey

A Note from Christina

This Month's Reflection

This Month I'm Thinking About...

Lately, I've been noticing more women in their late thirties reaching out with questions about perimenopause. They come in saying, "Am I too young for this?" or "I thought I had more time." More women are asking questions about whether changes can begin earlier than they expected, and yet most of us weren't prepared for it. This month I want to talk about why understanding the seasons of our bodies earlier might be one of the most powerful things we can do for ourselves.

What I'm Learning

I recently attended a conference on functional medicine and women's health, and I came back with so much to explore. One area I'm interested in is the relationship between chronic stress and our overall wellbeing. It's not just about managing stress—it's about recognizing how stress shows up in our daily lives and finding ways to support ourselves during demanding seasons. This perspective helps me approach conversations with more care.

A Note of Encouragement

If you're in a season right now where your body feels like a stranger to you—where nothing makes sense and everything feels unpredictable—I want you to know something: You're not alone in feeling this way. And clarity often comes when we slow down enough to notice what's actually happening. Your understanding can deepen. And when you feel more informed about your own body, that knowledge itself can bring a kind of quiet confidence. That clarity is worth pursuing.

Seasonal Reflection: Summer into Autumn

We're in that beautiful transition from summer into autumn. Summer is a season of fullness, visibility, outward expansion. Autumn invites us inward—to reflect, to harvest what we've grown, to let go of what no longer serves. Just like the trees trust the season and shed their leaves, we too can trust this season of our lives. Whether you're in a literal autumn or a metaphorical one in your body's seasons, there's wisdom in the transition. Let yourself change.
